The HELCATS activities are split into a set of well defined work packages
Producing a definitive catalogue of CMEs imaged by the Heliospheric Imager (HI) instruments on the NASA STEREO spacecraft. [WP2]
Deriving/cataloguing the kinetic properties of STEREO/HI CMEs based on geometrical and forward modelling. [WP3]
Verifying the kinematic properties of STEREO/ HI CMEs against in-situ CME observations and coronal sources. [WP4]
Producing a definitive catalogue of CIRs imaged by STEREO/HI that includes verified model-derived kinematic properties. [WP5]
Advanced numerical modeling based on the kinetic properties of STEREO/HI CMEs and CIRs. [WP6]
Assessing the complementary nature of radio measurements of solar wind transients. [WP7]
Coordinating the HELCATS Project Consortium and Interfacing with the EU. [WP1]
Informing the Community and Other Stakeholders about HELCATS. [WP8]
